BMS (Battery Management System) is the core brain of electric tricycle batteries, which determines the safety, stability, service life and performance of the battery. Traditional ordinary BMS has single function, simple protection logic, poor precision, and can only realize basic over-charging and over-discharging protection. It cannot monitor the internal state of the battery in real time, and is prone to failure and misprotection during high-intensity use, resulting in battery damage and shortened service life. Tricycle battery smart BMS adopts upgraded intelligent management technology, with comprehensive monitoring, precise protection, intelligent regulation and data analysis functions, which can comprehensively manage the battery cell state, effectively improve battery safety and cycle life, and optimize battery power output efficiency.

Full-parameter real-time monitoring realizes precise battery state perception. The smart BMS can monitor multiple core parameters of the battery in real time, including single cell voltage, total battery voltage, charge and discharge current, internal temperature, battery residual capacity (SOC), and cell balance state. It collects data at millisecond level, accurately captures subtle changes in the battery internal state, and forms real-time battery operation data reports. Different from ordinary BMS which can only monitor total voltage, the smart BMS can detect the voltage difference of each single cell, find out the unbalanced cell state in time, and avoid the problem of partial cell over-charging and over-discharging caused by inconsistent cell parameters, which is the key to prolonging the battery cycle life.

Multi-dimensional intelligent protection ensures all-round safety of battery operation. On the basis of basic over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and short-circuit protection, the smart BMS adds over-temperature protection, low-temperature charging protection, cell imbalance protection, reverse connection protection and load abnormal protection. It can intelligently identify various abnormal working conditions of the battery, and adopt graded protection strategies: early warning for slight abnormalities, automatic power limiting for moderate abnormalities, and immediate power-off protection for serious abnormalities. In high-temperature summer operation, it automatically limits charging current to avoid thermal runaway; in low-temperature winter environment, it prohibits charging to prevent cell damage; in heavy-load high-current discharge, it stabilizes current output to avoid overheating damage, effectively avoiding battery safety hazards such as bulging, short circuit and spontaneous combustion.

Intelligent balance and adaptive adjustment optimize battery performance. The smart BMS is equipped with active and passive dual balance functions. During battery charging and standby, it automatically balances the voltage of each single cell, eliminates the voltage difference between cells, keeps the overall consistency of the battery pack, and maximizes the release of battery capacity. It supports adaptive adjustment of charge and discharge parameters, can intelligently match different working conditions such as flat road driving, climbing and heavy-load driving, dynamically adjust discharge current and voltage output, ensure stable power output, and improve tricycle power performance and endurance. In addition, the smart BMS supports data docking and remote diagnosis. Users can view battery health data through mobile terminals, realize fault early warning and remote maintenance, reduce battery failure rate and maintenance cost, and greatly improve the intelligent level of tricycle batteries.
