Traditional integrated tricycle batteries adopt an integrated non-detachable structure, with fixed capacity and fixed volume. Once the battery fails, the whole battery pack needs to be replaced, resulting in high maintenance costs and serious resource waste. Meanwhile, the fixed capacity cannot adapt to the differentiated usage needs of different users, such as short-distance daily commuting and long-distance heavy-load transportation. Tricycle battery modular design completely changes the traditional integrated structure, adopting independent modular unit combination design, which realizes flexible assembly, independent maintenance, capacity expansion and convenient replacement of batteries, greatly improving the flexibility, maintainability and applicability of tricycle batteries.

Independent modular unit design realizes split assembly and free combination. The modular tricycle battery is composed of multiple independent standard battery modules. Each module is an independent power unit with complete cell, protection circuit and shell structure, with unified size, interface and specification. Users can freely combine 2-module, 3-module or multi-module battery packs according to their own usage needs and vehicle space. For daily short-distance light use, a small number of modules can be combined to reduce vehicle load and cost; for long-distance heavy-load transportation, multiple modules can be combined to increase battery capacity and endurance. The modular assembly mode has strong compatibility, which is suitable for all types of electric tricycle models on the market, with no need for vehicle modification, and the assembly process is simple and fast.

Independent maintenance and partial replacement reduce use cost. The biggest advantage of modular batteries is that they support single-module independent maintenance and replacement. For traditional integrated batteries, a single cell failure will lead to the scrapping of the whole battery pack, with high replacement cost. For modular tricycle batteries, if a single module fails, ages or has reduced capacity, users only need to replace the faulty single module, without replacing the whole battery pack, which greatly reduces the later maintenance and replacement cost. Each module is equipped with an independent indicator light and fault detection interface, which can quickly locate faulty modules, facilitate users and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and repair, shorten maintenance time, and improve the service efficiency of the battery.

Good heat dissipation and safety performance prolong service life. The modular split structure forms independent heat dissipation gaps between each battery module, which solves the problem of poor internal heat dissipation and easy heat accumulation of traditional integrated batteries. Each module dissipates heat independently, avoiding high-temperature superposition caused by centralized work of multiple cells, effectively reducing the battery operating temperature, and avoiding capacity attenuation and aging acceleration caused by high temperature. Meanwhile, each independent module is equipped with an independent anti-shock, waterproof and fireproof shell and a separate BMS protection system. Even if a single module has abnormal faults such as short circuit and overheating, it will not affect the normal operation of other modules, ensuring the overall safety and stability of the battery pack. The modular design also facilitates battery carrying, transportation and daily maintenance, bringing more convenient use experience to users.
