Fast charging technology is an important part of improving the user experience of Citycoco batteries, as it can significantly reduce the charging time and meet the needs of users for quick replenishment of power during daily use. Most Citycoco batteries are equipped with dedicated fast charging modules, which are compatible with high-power chargers (ranging from 2000W to 3000W) and adopt intelligent charging strategies to achieve efficient and safe fast charging. The charging time of Citycoco batteries varies according to the battery capacity and charger power, generally ranging from 3 to 8 hours, and fast charging can shorten the time to 4-6 hours for most models.

The core of Citycoco’s fast charging technology lies in the optimized charging curve and intelligent temperature control. The fast charger adopts a multi-stage charging mode: in the initial stage of charging, a large current is used to quickly replenish the battery power, which can complete 60%-70% of the charging in 2-3 hours; in the later stage of charging, the charging current is gradually reduced to avoid overcharging and damage to the battery cells, ensuring the safety and service life of the battery. At the same time, the BMS cooperates with the fast charger to real-time monitor the battery temperature during charging. If the temperature is too high, the charging current will be reduced or the charging will be suspended, and the temperature will be cooled down through the heat dissipation structure to ensure that the charging process is carried out within a safe temperature range (usually 0°C-45°C).

In addition to the fast charging function of the on-board battery, many Citycoco models are also equipped with a detachable battery design, which further enhances the convenience of fast charging. Users can remove the battery from the vehicle and charge it with a fast charger at home, office, or other convenient locations, without being restricted by the parking location of the vehicle. Some high-performance models are also equipped with dual battery configurations and matching dual chargers, which can charge two batteries at the same time, further shortening the total charging time. With the continuous upgrading of charging technology, some new Citycoco batteries also support higher-power fast charging, which can reduce the full charging time to less than 4 hours, providing a more efficient and convenient charging experience for users.
