10A fast charging is a mainstream high-efficiency charging mode specially adapted for Citycoco lithium batteries, which balances charging speed and battery safety, and is widely applicable to 48V, 60V and 72V Citycoco battery packs. Different from conventional 3A to 5A slow chargers, the 10A fast charging current greatly shortens the battery replenishment time, solving the pain point of long charging waiting time for electric scooters. For the mainstream 60V 20Ah Citycoco battery, the 10A fast charging mode can charge the battery from 20% power to 80% in only 1.5 to 2 hours, while the traditional slow charger takes more than 4 hours to complete the same charging progress, which greatly improves the charging efficiency and meets the urgent power replenishment needs of daily travel.

Citycoco batteries have excellent tolerance to 10A fast charging, relying on high-quality lithium cell materials and intelligent BMS protection system. Most Citycoco original batteries use high-density lithium-ion or LiFePO4 cells, which support high-current fast charging and have stable thermal conductivity, avoiding excessive local temperature rise during high-current charging. The upgraded BMS can intelligently monitor core temperature, charging current and cell voltage in real time during 10A fast charging. Once abnormal conditions such as overheating, over-current and over-voltage are detected, it will automatically reduce the charging current or suspend charging, effectively preventing battery bulging, thermal runaway and other safety hazards, and ensuring the safety and stability of fast charging.

The 10A fast charging mode has a reasonable power regulation mechanism, which will automatically adjust the current output in stages according to the battery power. In the low power stage (below 60%), the charger maintains a stable 10A high current for rapid power replenishment to maximize charging efficiency. When the battery power reaches 80%, the system will automatically reduce the charging current to 3A to 5A, switch to trickle charging mode to fully activate the battery cells and fill up the remaining power. This segmented fast charging strategy not only ensures fast charging speed, but also avoids the damage of long-term high-current charging to the battery, effectively protecting the battery cycle life.

In practical application scenarios, 10A fast charging is very suitable for family and commercial fast charging scenarios of Citycoco scooters. For daily office workers, they can quickly replenish sufficient power during lunch breaks or short rest periods to meet the travel needs of the day. For shared Citycoco scooters and rental scooters, 10A fast charging can improve vehicle turnover efficiency, reduce charging waiting time, and increase service frequency. It is worth noting that official supporting 10A fast chargers must be used for Citycoco battery fast charging. Unqualified third-party fast chargers with unstable current output will cause irreversible damage to the battery cells and affect the long-term use stability of the battery.
