The designation “14S5P” means 14 cells in series (to achieve nominal voltage) and 5 cells in parallel (to increase capacity). Each 18650 or 21700 cell provides 3.6V, so 14S yields 50.4V nominal (fully charged at 58.8V), while 5P increases capacity to 15–20Ah (depending on cell rating). This setup delivers 756–1000Wh of energy, suitable for 2000–3000W Citycoco motors.

Construction and BMS integration are critical for 14S5P pack reliability. The pack contains 70 cells (14×5) arranged in a rigid plastic or aluminum casing, with a dedicated Battery Management System (BMS) monitoring each series string. The BMS protects against overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and overheating, while balancing cell voltages to ensure uniform performance and extend cycle life.
